​AmeriCorps Program

​What is AmeriCorps (pronounced AmeriCore)?
  • AmeriCorps is a National Service Program, where individuals commit to serving in their local community.
  • AmeriCorps commit to serving 1715 hours over 10.5 months of service
  • Members receive up to $20,000 stipend, which they receive as a $2,000 living allowance monthly. In addition, members earn an education award of $6,495 upon successful completion of the full 1715 hours.
  • Members also receive health insurance, and if eligible, a childcare subsidy
  • Members receive training and certifications throughout their term of service
